This island-bound Nation of the west is the abode of the Firebenders. Its islands feature everything from stark volcanoes to dense jungles, vilalges set amid lush jungles to metropolises crawling with pollution and crawl.

The Northern and Southern polar regions are the domain of the two Water Tribes. The South was hit pretty hard by the War, but the North weathered the past century and the Northern Fortress still stands as a haven of waterbending and tribal culture.

The Earth Kingdom sprawls across a vast continent. Ruled from the mighty megalopolis of Ba Sing Se, the Kingdom includes every variety of terrain and culture within its borders, including places that don't really recognise the Earth King's authority, such as the Foggy Swamp and the Si Wong Desert.

| Spirit World
This strange otherworld exists parallel to the Avatar world, and occasionally the two overlap. The easiest way for a mortal to get to the Spirit World is to die. However, sometimes spirits will carry humans across the borders, and on rare occasions the spiritually attuned can force their way through the veil themselves. It isn't exactly good for sanity, though.
